Washington Coaches is an energetic, friendly business offering coach hire to clients throughout the UK. The business with the head office based in Stanley, Co. Durham and the Garage in Washington, Tyne and Wear was established in 1997.
The owner David Charlton has many years experience within the vehicle hire profession.
Our family business is rapidly growing having started with one wheelchair accessible minibus in 1997, we now have a fleet of 29 to 49 seater coaches.
Our growth is due not only to advertising but mainly recommendations and repeat bookings due to a friendly, reliable and professional service. Enabling clients to hire coaches throughout the year, for every event or occasion. The company supplies clients with clean, comfortable, well maintained coaches and professional drivers. The service is intended to be relaxing and enjoyable.

David Charlton Started Washington Coaches in 1997 with one wheelchair accessible mini coach and has since expanded the business to the size it is today with the goal to expand further in the future.
Dawn Charlton joined Washington Coaches in 1998 running the office and later became the transport manager in 2000.
